The news was posted by Houston Humane Society wherein they are asking for donations to help give the care these poor animals needed.

Caring for a dog is not an easy task, but caring for a whole load of them? It can quickly go out of hand. It seems more and more people are hoarding animals these days. While the more pets you have, the more joy and love they can give you, the real question is can you handle all of them at once?

I believe everyone can be a good owner, but not everyone chooses to be good. A good owner knows how to take care of his pets – all of them. But what’s the point of owning many if you can’t even give them a good life?

As a dog lover myself, I try not to be tempted to adopt every rescue dog I meet. I’ve been a dog owner for many years now, and I’ve loved every single dog I owned. The joy of owning a dog is incomparable, but the more dogs you adopt, the more you crave. However, I know that if I adopt more than I can manage, I won’t be able to give them the best life they deserve.

I hope every one of us will soon realize that unless you have all the resources needed to give the best care for dogs, only own the numbers you can provide for.
