Ilex opaca is the scientific name for American Holly plant. And according to ASPCA website it is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses. They signs of poisoning are vomiting vomiting, depression and diarrhea. And even though the berries and leaves are low in toxin, but they still shouldn’t be anywhere near little puppies because they are  so small. If your dog ate poisonous plant ASPCA provides telephone number to call ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. (and as they say “consultation fee may apply.”) If your dog ate something they are not supposed to take your dog to the vet immediately.
