The Amazing Story Of An Abandoned Mutt That Will Touch Even The Toughest Of Hearts

Lilica’s family soon expanded and she became the mother of 8 beautiful puppies. Sadly, because she lived in poverty she quickly realized that there was not enough food to feed her pups, or the rest of her tribe. One night, when her puppies were fast asleep she hit the road in the dead of night to find food for those at home. While there was little visibility, Lilica risked her life to find food. She walked 4 miles until she found a tenderhearted teacher who fed homeless animals. Lilica ate only some of what was given to her, then she carried the rest back home to give to her puppies and the rest of her family. Even after her puppies were adopted, she continued the 4 mile journey to get food from the teacher and bring as much as she could back to her family. The kind teacher even began tying the back for her once she was finished eating so it would not spill out as she walked.

What a lesson to be learned about the importance of kindness and humanity. What a lesson to be learned about caring for those around you and literally walking the extra mile to make sure others needs are met, too. We all should try to be more like Lilica.
