Officers believe Samuel wanted to make McEwan appear guilty. This resulted in Samuel uncovering their dark secret. Both are convicted of 6 charges of different animal cruelty and negligence. According to The Express Reports, both Samuel and McEwan will serve 6 months of jail time.
When I hear news like these, I can’t help but wonder, what are the reasons why such people exist? How can a bunch of sweet and innocent animals be put into pitiful situations like this one? Why can’t the owners simply give them away instead of locking them somewhere dark, dirty where they can just die of hunger and loneliness?
 
As a dogs fanatic and an owner of a cute and furry canine, it hurts to know other humans can just treat these precious creatures like they’re some piece of trash. And to think the laws imposed on such practice are not enough. Still, I’m glad the cats and dogs are now free and hopefully will find a home way better than the previous one.
All we can is raise awareness and hope and pray that one day, no animal would be neglected and treated badly. I still have hope that this world we live in would be a much better place for all – man and animals alike in the nearest future possible.
