This is so true. Our nine year old lab who lost his brother suddenly was very depressed. We were able to aquire a brand new puppy. The nine year old has become a very good “father” to the puppy. Not only did he ask to go out when the puppy had to go, but has taken to the task of keeping him within the right boundries. You have to see it to believe it.
