Two Rescue Missions In One Day, But For One Pup, It Was Too Late

There, on one side of the road, lies the unmoving body of the second puppy. It was lying on its back, surrounded by trash. They came to check on the poor pup, but it was already dead. It was too late to save him, and no matter how much they wanted to take it with them, they couldn’t. Dead animals carry bacterial infections that are very contagious to both animals and humans. the rescuers had to leave the body of the poor pup behind and asked animal services to remove the body and have it cremated.

While on their way to the vet, they received another call for help and it was nearby, so they went straight to the location. They found the small stray dog, and he was alone for several months already. They tried feeding the small dog, but it would just grab the food and walk away.

The rescuers proceeded to use a cage to trap the stray dog as it was afraid of them. they managed to capture him and went on their way.

They names the mother dog Vegas, her pup Moondust and the little male dog Bingo. After a few minutes into the ride, Bingo started trusting his rescuers and allowed them to touch them.

Upon arriving at the hospital, they gave each dog a nice warm bath. Bingo enjoyed the bath. Meanwhile, the mother and puppy dog was checked by the vets. Vegas was looking after her baby while it was being checked. They were given a bath afterwards.

LA Animal Rescue fostered the mom and puppy dog, and Moondusk was soon adopted. Vegas still needs a foster family to take her in.  Meanwhile, Bingo was adopted and is now a happy little doggo.

By the time I saw the second puppy, my heart sank. The poor pup didn’t even have the chance to live life, more or less have a name of its own. If only the call for help came sooner than later, then maybe, just maybe, she would have been rescued together with its mom and sibling.
