Track Your Dog At All Times - Do You Know Where Your Dog Is? We do.

Pit Bulls are one of the most misunderstood dogs there is. Stories of violence and abuse have made a bad reputation for this dog breeds, but most of the time, what we may think of as facts tend to be quite the opposite.

I love dogs, whatever the breed may be. I do have favorites, and that includes my pets of course. You can say I have special love for Pit Bulls, as I used to be friends with one of my cousin’s. I did find them intimidating at first since there have been reports saying that they are one of the most dangerous breeds in the world. Also, the fact that some states and places literally bans Pit Bulls as pets made their reputation a not so good one.

If you know a thing or two about dogs, whether you’re a dog owner, lover or not, most of the time, chances are you’ve been one of those who blindly believes in rumors that Pit Bulls are a dog breed that is not for everyone. But all changed when I met one that turned out to be one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met.

I came across a video that shows the common myths usually associated with Pit Bulls, and the truth behind them. Care to join me in finding out what those are? Let’s go!

These are 8 Pitbull Myths Debunked

Lie Number 1: Pit Bulls are inherently dangerous.

Truth: If you’re a responsible owner, then you are able to prevent future aggressive tendencies.

Generalizing a certain breed and condemning them as inherently vicious is simply wrong. Remember that each and every dog should be evaluated by their merits, and not by breed. Just link in humans, no race is bad, and no dog breed is bad either.

Lie Number 2: Pit Bulls have locking jaws

Truth: Pit Bulls don’t have locking jaws.

In fact, the strength of their jaws has lesser power than German Shepherds and Rottweilers. If you try to check and compare the skull of Pit Bulls from other dogs, you’ll find no differences. However, it is known that Pit Bulls and Pit Bull Mixes have one trait – determination. If they feel like they need to bite down something, their unwavering determination makes them hold on as if their lives depended on it.
