Labradors were bred as a gun dog. They are a great swimmer and that is the reason why hunters were used them because they can retrieve. These little guys can’t do anything like that yet but they are getting ready for it. It is very important for their social development to be with their brothers and sisters at least until they are 8 weeks old. And of course, they would love to be with their brothers and sisters much longer.     I have a lab who does not like the water. She is an Old Provance Lab. She is the sweetest pup you could ever meet. I take her to the VA Home where her Nana is and she is a big hit
