What This Poor German Shepherd Mother Dog Does To Deliver And Protect Her Puppies Is Unbelievable

The problem wasn’t spotting Stormy or accessing her to put on the slip lead since she was calm and cooperative.

The challenge was to find her puppies, whom one could only hear but not see. Also, Stormy was herself stuck inside the hole. It was not clear if she had mangled herself in something or if she was stuck onto something. The large load upon her under which she had dug the hole could not be lifted since there was no licensed forklift operator at the side. There were anyway fewer workers.

Stormy was rescued and three puppies were rescued too. The animal rescue volunteers waited for a long time to observe any other noise of puppies inside the hole. They didn’t get any indication. Stormy and her three puppies were taken to the vet. She had given birth to another puppy who was taken home by a construction worker.

He agreed to return the puppy since it wouldn’t have lived without Stormy.
The next day when the load along with the construction pallet was removed, two more puppies were found in the hole, alive. Stormy was reunited with all her six newborns and she was ecstatic, clearly indicating that she was sad not being able to see all her newborns at the clinic.
