Clark was the first one to be rescued. The male dog seemed terrified at first – he was visibly shaking but did not put up a fight. Once tied to a leach, one volunteer came to pet him, and he calmed down after that. He seems to know the human’s intentions were good.

Now it’s time to go get Lois. The female dog went to Clark after seeing him tied up to the fence but eventually ran away after seeing the rescue group.

After just a few minutes, she was rescued, willingly at that. She was still a bit shaken up but calmed down as soon as she’s beside Clark.

According to Hagar, they stayed for about 30 minutes with the dogs to calm things a bit. They came up with the dogs’ names and went on their way.

The two dogs were never aggressive, but visible scared what could happen to them. They were transported to the vet hospital in separate cars and reunited shortly after. Lois was obviously elated to see his superdog, Clark. She started wagging her tail like crazy after seeing him. It was then that the rescue group knew they were meant to be together.
