Dog Trapped In Barn Is Transformed After Groomers Removed 35 Pounds Of Fur

The overgrown coat that Lazarus had develop while staying in the barn measured thirty-five pounds.

Imagine how heavy Lazarus must have been with all that weight. Once the excess coat was gone, Lazarus was a different dog.

He was slim and active, agile and happy. He felt anew. Initial human contact was a little surprising for him, clearly indicating he had not been accustomed for a while and also because of the overgrown coat. As he started to realize that the people around him at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue were not to be feared but loved, he welcomed petting, expressed joy when given a treat and also started gorging on steaks. Lazarus was initially averse to the steak because he had not had one in a long time. He also seemed grateful for the love and affection which is a tad sad since dogs shouldn’t have to feel so.
For a dog who had suffered, it was a matter of time before Lazarus understood it was his due and started living his life to the utmost, being active and playful, joyous and compassion.
